The project demonstrates AEL’s ability to design, deliver, and integrate advanced security technologies in complex healthcare environments where reliability, compliance, and rapid deployment are critical. Replacing outdated standalone systems, AEL implemented a state-of-the-art analytical CCTV platform combined with upgraded access control and automated perimeter protection. High-performance analytics cameras now provide continuous 24/7 monitoring, automatically detecting movement and escalating real-time alerts to the hospital’s central security control room. This proactive approach enables faster response times, improved situational awareness, and significantly reduced security risk. By integrating access control into the Trust’s centralised system, AEL delivered greater transparency, auditability, and control over staff movement across the site. The addition of automated sliding gates further strengthens physical security, preventing unauthorised access while maintaining operational efficiency for authorised personnel. Delivered within a challenging timeframe, this solution showcases AEL’s expertise in project management, system integration, and technical delivery. The upgraded system has eliminated security blind spots, reduced reliance on static guarding, and created a scalable, future-ready security infrastructure that protects both people and assets.
