It might seem like the primary role of electrical contractors is to fit things accurately and effectively so that the commercial security systems in question work perfectly – this is true but they have to be prepared to offer comprehensive training too. Security systems are only effective if they are used properly. The facilities team on site has to receive the proper training from the installation team so that they can go about putting the security systems to good use and tailoring them to the specific needs of your business. If there is no dedicated facilities team, then other members of the team responsible for the building or responsible for office management need to be educated in the functions of the security system. It may be the case that every member of staff needs to be trained in the operation of things like access control systems, so always choose a contractor prepared to go through these vital steps. - Recent -
