Business Development Manager
North West and East Midlands

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager within the North West and East Midlands region to develop business across areas of the UK.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the fire and security industry and play a pivotal role in driving our growth and increasing market share by identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and achieving sales targets.

The role:

  • Identify and target potential clients, industries, and geographic areas for new business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while proactively seeking new clients.
  • Attend meetings for new opportunities provided by our marketing team.
  • Conduct market research to stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Present and demonstrate our fire and security solutions to potential clients, articulating the benefits and value of our products and services.
  • Identifying opportunities to up-sell and cross sell from our product and services range.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring they are in line with the company's objectives and profitability goals.
  • Collaborate with our technical and operations teams to ensure successful delivery of projects to clients.

About you:

  • Proven experience in business development within the fire and security industry.
  • Strong technical understanding of fire and electronic security solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • A proactive and organised approach to managing your pipeline.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and other sales and marketing tools.

Servicing and Maintenance Engineers
North East, North West and East Midlands

We’re recruiting a Servicing & Maintenance Engineer to join a busy, growing security company with a strong reputation and a long-term pipeline of work. If you’re an experienced engineer who enjoys variety, autonomy, and technical challenge — and wants real training and progression — this role is for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be working across a wide range of systems, including:

  • Intruder alarms
  • CCTV systems
  • Access control
  • Nurse call systems
  • Traffic barriers
Your role will include:
  • Servicing and maintaining security systems across client sites
  • Responding to breakdowns and planned maintenance visits
  • Carrying out small installation and upgrade works
  • Liaising with the service desk and customers
  • Completing job reports and certification
  • Explaining system operation and reducing false alarms
  • Participating in the out-of-hours call-out rota

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be a capable, customer-focused engineer with a proactive attitude.

Essential:
  • Proven experience as a security service engineer
  • Knowledge of intruder systems including Galaxy, Texecom, Scantronic, Orisec
  • Experience with access control systems including Paxton, PAC, Avigilon, TDSI, Salto
  • Experience with CCTV platforms including Hikvision, Hanwha, Avigilon, Milestone
  • IP / networking experience
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to pass enhanced DBS and security screening
Desirable:
  • CSCS card or Safety Passport
  • IPAF 1b, 3a & 3b
  • PASMA
